What is a gaited mule?
Gaited Mules are produced by breeding a gaited horse to a
donkey, or a gaited donkey to a horse.
Since gaited mules are half horse they can usually do any gait the gaited
horse can. A gaited mule is almost assured when both the jack and the horse are
gaited. Gaited mules can perform more than two gaits, they canter too! They are
bred from the saddle-gaited horses including Tennessee Walking Horse. For years
high quality gaited mules have been much-sought-after in the United States
